Good Bye Quick, C Litter of Otterhounds Update

The otterhounds had all been to the vet for check ups and vaccinations and everything looked fine. However things changed on January 24th for Quick. And Quick’s last litter, the Hunter’s C litter of Otterhounds will soon be three years old.

The pups are nine weeks old now and went in for their second round of shots. They also were micro chipped, started on heart worm protection and flea preventive.

They really prefer being outside and want to sleep out but are still too young.

The pups are eight weeks old now. They were allowed out in the main yard for the first time.  They had a ball and managed to cover most of the 3/4 acre at a dead run. They got their first swimming this weekend.  They also had their first experience on a leash walking and coming.  They are getting better about not wetting their bed but accidents still happen.  When one has to go they all do and we can’t get all nine out before someone has a mishap.

The pups are six weeks old and had their first shots on the 18th.  On Saturday they went into the puppy pen for the first time. The pen is 30 feet by 40 feet.  They had a blast running all over the place exploring everything.  They prefer staying out in the puppy pen and even stayed under the dog house when it rained.
