Clara at a Show Otterhound
About Clara
Clara is from our C litter. She was the smallest and still is on the small side but not too small. She was more of a demon to begin with and the demon side of her still crops up. She chews on the dogs beds and chewed on two of the dinning room chairs. She knows when she has been bad and sits at your feet staring up at you with such a look that it’s hard to stay mad at her.
She went to socialization class when she was five months old and did well. She was a bit of a handful at her first show but since then she has gotten the hang of it. She has twice won Winners Bitch and Best of Breed over her sister Cheyenne, mom Quick and Pris to give her both of her majors toward her championship.
She is current on all her shots and is doing well. She is Glanzman”s clear since both parents are clear. She had her her hips x rayed because of an injury and they looked good. She will have her hips x rayed for OFA when she is two.
Clara is Glanzman’s clear by parentage and test. She had her hips x rayed in June 2014 and the results came back excellent. She is the third Otterhound listed with excellent hips. She received her CHIC number shortly there after.
On December 4, 2014 Clara earned her championship and became Ch. Hunter’s Dame Clara.
Clara was bred in April 2015 but lost the litter ten days before they were due. When a second breeding was planned 2017 it was determined she should not be bred again.
