We went to the Lone Star State Classic Dec. 10 and 11. We showed Quick, Abilene, Barclay and Bonney. Bonney really shined both days and got Best of Breed.
We had planned to breed Quick and Abilene in the fall but they failed to come in heat at the expected time. The only thing we can figure is that their heat was thrown off because of the high temperatures.
Just to make things interesting Quick came in heat five days before Christmas. Abilene came in heat seven days later and Pris three days after that. So we ended the year with three girls in heat. It has been challenging.
