On June 12 the Hunter F litter Otterhounds were seven weeks old. They are already used to a regular schedule, And they are excited about new prospects.
On June 5 the Hunter Otterhounds F litter celebrated their sixth week with a bang. They have been spending more time outside or in a puppy playpen on the back porch. They love to get out and run loose either outside or in the house.
On May 29 the Hunter Otterhound Litter F turned five weeks old. They have discovered “toys” and love playing with whatever catches their eye. They like playing with shoelaces and chewing on your shoes and socks while you have them on. They are spending more time outside especially in the mornings and evenings when it is cooler.
The Firsts of 4 Week Old Otterhounds The pups had their first outing. They were put into a small exercise pen which they quickly decided was too small. The pups are up to running around and they wanted out. They were allowed to run around loose for a few minutes closely supervised by both us and Dora.
On May 15 the Hunter F Otterhound Litter turned three weeks old. They are up on their feet and wandering around the whelping box especially when mom is not there and they are hungry, which seems all the time.
On May 8 the Hunter F litter Otterhound Pups were two weeks old! Around day 12 their eyes began to open even though they can’t see yet. They are getting up on their feet and wobbling around the whelping box. The vet checked these Otterhound Pups over and said they were doing fine. Everyone couldn’t believe how big they were getting.
On May 1 the Hunter F litter was one week old. They are eating good, and their mother is very attentive. And these feisty Otterhound Puppies are already growing and trying to walk already! We’re so happy with these pups and that this rare breed now has three more puppies.
