Otterhounds the bad:
 | They need lots of exercise. |
| They need regular brushing. |
| They are big and strong. |
| They are stubborn. |
| They like to bay. |
| They can be rowdy. |
Otterhounds the ugly:
| They are very messy: grass, twigs, leaves etc. get caught in the fur. |
| They fill their beards, face, ears, feet and coat with water and deposit it all over the house. |
| They get food all over their faces and wipe them on you and everything else. |
| They can and will throw slobbers all over the place(wall, floors, ceiling, furniture and people). |
| They are hard to come by. |
